TAF DRY Foods is also designed to support future value-added product development through an optional automated marination line. The planned system incorporates a ribbon mixer for homogeneous blending of frozen tomato pieces with ingredients such as oil, oregano and selected spices, followed by automated weighing, bag filling and vacuum sealing. This capability is intended to provide greater flexibility for customer-specific product development while replacing manual mixing and filling operations with a more controlled and repeatable process. Marinated options are available for different industrial, foodservice and private-label applications.
